Research Focus:

The research focus of CAMAIL (Computational Applied Mathematics & Artificial Intelligence Lab) is to develop new AI approaches as well as new computational methods that are more efficient, capable, and theoretically grounded by combining modern Machine Learning with Computational Science and Applied Mathematics.

A particular focus is on Physics-inspired Machine Learning, AI-driven advances in Computational Science, and the theoretical foundations of AI.

Moreover, we pursue a wide range of applications, spanning from scientific applications in physics and neuroscience to robot learning.
