NeurIPS 2024 has officially come to a close, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about the experience!
For the first time, the ELLIS Institute Tübingen proudly showcased its mission at this prestigious conference with an exhibitor booth, marking an exciting debut in the vibrant city of Vancouver. Connecting with researchers, collaborators, and AI enthusiasts made this experience truly memorable.
This year’s conference welcomed over 16.000 attendees, reflecting the growing global interest in AI research and development.
From December 10th to 15th, our scientists presented their latest research, spanning a diverse range of topics. With 26 poster contributions and 2 oral presentations, the ELLIS Institute Tübingen reaffirmed its commitment to scientific excellence, innovation, and impactful research in the AI community.
A standout moment of the week was the ELLIS Open Source AI Meetup, hosted on Thursday, December 12th at the Ellis Building and generously sponsored by AMD and Balderton Capital. The event drew an incredible crowd, providing a lively atmosphere where attendees networked and exchanged ideas. It was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen connections, share our mission, and celebrate the spirit of innovation and teamwork that defines the ELLIS network.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited our booth, engaged with our team, and expressed such enthusiasm and curiosity about our work. Your support inspires us, and we look forward to welcoming some of you to our growing community in Tübingen in the future.
With NeurIPS 2024 behind us, we’re looking forward to building on the connections we made in Vancouver!
